We are delighted to share with you that Xetra Biosolution has proudly served as a trusted trader and distributor for life science products since 2014! As we celebrate a decade of service in this field, we are happy to introduce DNA barcoding service as another milestone in our journey. The DNA barcoding includes DNA Extraction, DNA Quantification, Gene Amplification, PCR product purification, Bi-directional / Unidirectional Sequencing and Data interpretation of the sample with Genus/Species level identification and Phylogenetic tree construction.
The services includes
· 16srRNA Sequencing (Bacteria / Actinomycetes)
· 18srRNA Sequencing (Fungi/algae/yeast)
· RBCL / MATK sequencing (plants)
· CoI Sequencing
· Specific Gene Study
We aim to serve to your diverse needs and provide you with the best solutions possible. Our team is here to assist you in finding the perfect services to support your research endeavours.
Results we provide
For the Identification of Bacteria or Archaea
The long 1500 bp fragment distributed between the conserved region is suitable for phylogenetic analysis thereby analysing the relationship among the genus / species level.
The 16s rRNA full length gene are amplified using 27F / 1492R universal primers and the same primers are used for sequencing.
For the Identification of Fungi / Algae / Yeast
The nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region also known to the fungal barcode is the commonly used genetic marker with successful identification of broad range of Fungi
The 18s region are amplified using ITS1 / ITS 4 primers with product lenght ranging from 650 bp to 800bp
For the Identification of Plants
Ribulose-1,5-Bisphosphate Carboxylase (RBCL) and Megakaryocyte-Associated Tyrosine Kinase (MATK), either of these chloroplast genes are used with product length ranging from 600 - 900bp.
Mitochondrial Cytochrome Oxidase 1 gene based DNA barcoding is the popular method for molecular systematics
The nucleoide composition in the conserved region with 650bp fragment length are used in evolutionary and ecological studies.
